Overview

In this article, you fill find more information on how to manage permit facilities.

Step 1: Login to the Roker admin portal.
Step 2: Under the "Facilities" heading, select "Go to facilities".
Step 3: Search the location you'd like to revise, and then select the "edit' icon next to the location.
Once you have clicked on the "edit" icon, a series of screens will appear for you to view/revise.
Step 4: Under Step 1, "Location & types of permits", you are able to revise:
Location Name: The name of the location
Parking type: What type of parking it is. EX. On street, or Off street parking
Zone Number: The zone number of the location selected
Type of permit: What type of permit can be used within this location

Note: You can also move the blue swipe bar on the left bottom side if you would like to add overflow parking (additional parking locations) if the current lot gets full. You then would write in the "overflow parking facility" where the additional parking would be.
Step 5: Under Step 2, you can revise "Accepted Vehicles", as well as indicate accepted license plate types.
Step 6: On Step 3, you can revise and update the "Venue Details" of the location you are viewing.
The location will be pre-loaded to show in map view.
You can scroll towards the bottom of the page to view and revise "venue details"

Parking Meter ID (Optional): If your location has a parking meter, you can add the meter ID here
Total # of parking spots: The amount of parking spots available within the location
Is it for nested parking: This can be flipped on if you are using nested parking within the location (ex. One location, but 2 levels, and 1 level is for guests, the other is for employees)
Parking facility ID: The location ID within the system
Add new nested parking: You can add an additional "nest" to the location. Ex. If you already have a guest and employee nest, you can make a third nest for "security employees" specifically, if desired.
Is over booking: If the lot can be overbooked - and the amount that is permitted.
Under section 4, you can view each permit name, as well as their effective date/expiry date, and the pricing/operating hours.
Step 8: Once you have revised/reviewed all sections, you can click "submit" to put the changes in effect.
