The Audit History is a log of all actions applied to a particular violation during the violation life cycle and can be viewed by all administrators. The Audit History will include both public and private notes written in the mobile application, as well as all functions processed via the Action Grid and payment history.
There are two ways to view the audit history of a violation: one, through the Violation Details page, and the other through the Violation Audit History Report.
You can view the audit history on a specific violation by searching for the violation through the Violations Management tab.
Then, click on the violation number (see below in GREEN).
In the violation details popup, click on Audit History (see below). The history is sorted by date created, and includes the user, action, value and reason for the action. The audit history cannot ever be deleted; any and all actions applied to a violation will show up here.
A report can also be run, by clicking on Violation Audit History under Reports.
The report requires 4 fields: start date, end date, group and location. You are also able to search by the user and the type of action applied.
To run the report, fill out the required information and click on Create Report.
All actions performed on a violation are separated by line; if one violation had multiple actions performed on it, each action will be a separate line. If needed, you can export the report to an excel or PDF file (see below).
